Job DescriptionAlkermes is seeking an experienced HRIS Manager in a key role in the effective management, enhancement, and optimization of our Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) system. Reporting to the Director of HRIS, this role is responsible for managing 3rd party vendor support, ensuring data accuracy, leveraging technology to support HR initiatives, and driving data-driven decision-making. The individual must have great interpersonal and collaboration skills to lead various global cross-functional projects. Candidate must also have strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate the ability to multi-task in a faced paced environment.This position will report to Director, HRIS and located on a hybrid schedule in Waltham 3/days a week.ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:HRIS System Management:Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's Oracle HCM Cloud system and all other HRIS Systems in support of HR initiativesManage the HCM system release processes, 3rd party support vendor, and backlog to ensure the right priorities are being worked on at the right timeManage and implement HR key events such as open enrollment and mid-year/ year-end performance and compensation cyclesCreate accountability among projects teams to deliver projects, upgrades, and enhancements on-timeCreate partnerships with HR team and business leaders to provide consultation on process improvements, releases, innovative solutions, process changes, and reportingHRIS Strategy: Help develop and execute a strategic plan for HRIS that aligns with the organization's HR and business objectivesIdentify opportunities to enhance system functionality and efficiencyData Analysis and Reporting: Responsible identifying key themes, data trends, and provide insights to support business decisionsDevelop and maintain standard reports, partner with key stakeholders to create custom reports on an ad hoc basis to support business needs; drive HR analytics and deliveryGenerate and distribute regular HR reports and analytics to support business functionsCreate ad-hoc reports and analyses to address HR-related questions and challengesProcess Improvement: Continuously evaluate HR processes to identify areas for automation, optimization, and efficiency improvementsCollaborate with HR and IT teams to implement process enhancementsIntegration and Technology Enhancements: Collaborate with IT and vendors to ensure seamless integration of HRIS with other systems and applicationsEvaluate and recommend enhancements or upgrades to HR technology solutionsResponsible for managing and ensuring successfully quarterly releases. Review release notes and provide input to the HR functions of the impact and functionality of releaseData Governance, Privacy and Compliance: Drives critical HR reporting and data analytics company-wide, including state and federal compliance reporting (FLSA, EEO, VETS, AAP reporting). Monitors current OFCCP requirements and ensures proper complianceEnsure HR data is handled in compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and internal policiesImplement data retention and security measuresSupport global data integrity processes, including adherence to global data standards. Work with local HR teams to develop action plans focused on continuous improvement of data integrity in accordance with data privacy lawsMonitors adherence to system procedures and processes; coaches, trains, educates in areas of non-complianceTraining and Support: Provide training and support to HR staff and end-users on HRIS system functionality and best practicesDefine and manage a full system testing strategy. This includes managing multiple 'test' environments, creating test plans, and managing a library of test scripts for all modulesCreates strategy for change management and communication to support long term system adoptionQualificationsBasic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (Management of Information Systems or similar preferred) or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experienceAt least 10 years of HR systems experience, expert level experience with Oracle HCM modules preferredMinimum 4 years Oracle HCM experience working on an HRIS team or equivalent Oracle consultingPreferred Qualifications: Experience working in a global organization preferredPrior experience producing HR analytics for leadership preferredStrong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain processes and policies effectivelyHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail - data integrityMust be able to set priorities and juggle several tasks within a fast-paced, deadline driven environment with a positive attitudeAdvanced proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPointAble to work cross functionally with all departmentsAbility to troubleshoot independently and escalate issues in a timely and effective mannerAbility to demonstrate both functional and technical aptitudeAbility to work a hybrid schedule and in our Waltham office 3/days a week#LI-TS1About UsAlkermes plc is a global biopharmaceutical company that seeks to develop innovative medicines in the field of neuroscience.
