**General Manager, San Francisco**
San Francisco, California / Operations / Full Time Food Rocket is a San Francisco-based FoodTech startup that provides the fastest grocery delivery in the US, promising door-to-door delivery within 10-15 minutes of placing an order. Its' business model is based on AI-enabled technologies to manage inventory, forecast demand, and optimize delivery time by predicting the closest micro fulfillment center that offers the fastest delivery time and the lowest fulfillment and delivery cost. The startup is competing with the biggest players in the market DoorDash, GoPuff, Amazon Fresh, InstaCart.
As a market General Manager, you will be responsible for building Food Rockets presence in San Francisco from the very beginning. This is a unique opportunity for you to apply your skills in a fast-developing environment and grow rapidly along with the business. You will define and implement a go-to-market strategy, build a team, scale, and rationalize the business. You will be responsible for execution of the strategy, end-to-end results, and the P&L of the business in the market. You will work closely with dedicated senior managers from the HQ that will support rollout and ongoing business operations. As a key stakeholder for product teams, you will also play a critical role in identifying improvements in existing products and provide insights into what needs to be built for the future. **Responsibilities**

+ Fully understand unit-economics and own P&L and budget of the business in a market

+ Understanding of the IT business, e-commerce, e-grocery, restaurant food delivery, retail, supply chain management, construction, start-up operations or a consulting background
+ High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired.
+ Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases. Ability to clearly communicate data insights to others
+ Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Technology, Business Management or related field
+ 10+ years of product and/or business experience, 5+ years of managing large/ complex teams
+ Data analysis & reporting background

+ Master's Degree
+ E-grocery experience with quantifiable results
+ Project Management proficiency
+ Ability to audit, whilst looking around corners
+ Management consulting
+ Fluent English
