For one of our key clients and prominent players within the Green Energy Sector, Coalesce Management Consulting (CMC), is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to support our client and contribute to the successful execution the multi-billion green energy investment.
Please note that you would initially work as an independent consultant (B2B) through CMC.
After the initial year of working, you will also be required to travel to the project location in North Dakota for the execution phase of the project around once per month.
The Project Engineer will play a crucial role in the planning, coordination, and execution of the substantial green energy investment. This position requires a dynamic individual with extensive experience in project engineering within the energy sector, capable of managing technical aspects of complex, high-value projects from inception through to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering design, project management, and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Design:
Develop and review engineering designs, specifications, and plans to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate engineering solutions into project plans.
Prepare detailed project schedules, work plans, and resource allocation strategies.
Technical Oversight:
Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from conceptual design to commissioning.
Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies to support project decision-making.
Coordination and Communication:
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, EPC contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Facilitate regular project meetings to communicate technical progress, challenges, and solutions.
Prepare and present technical reports, documentation, and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Quality Assurance:
Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the integrity of engineering designs and construction.
Conduct regular inspections, audits, and reviews to verify compliance with project specifications and standards.
Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize project disruptions.
Cost and Schedule Management:
Monitor project budgets and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising project quality or safety.
Track project milestones and deliverables to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
Risk Management:
Identify potential technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor and report on technical risk status, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Ensure contingency plans are in place to address unexpected technical challenges.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for improving engineering processes and practices.
Implement best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives in project engineering.
