Compensation : $59.75 - $59.75 Hourly Client Job Ref ID : ASC-11441|AH-HHC-62165 Start Date : 09/24/2023 End Date : 12/30/2023 Security Clearance : None Shift : Night 7PM-7:30AM (19:00 - 07:30) Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Department: Cardiovascular Unit Shift Timings : Night Shift 19:00 - 07:30 HoursRoles & Responsibilities Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Complexity of Work: Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment Minimum Qualifications Cardiac ICU with both medical and surgical patients. Required: current NxStage and cardiac ICU experience Preferred: IABP and Impella experience Required a minimum of 1 year of Experience. QUALIFICATIONS BLS and ACLS National Institutes of Health (NIH) Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. The ability to stand for extended periods. Strong technical skills. Knowledge of medical terminology Passionate about patient care Requires a minimum of two years of RN Telemetry experience. Graduate from a fully accredited RN program Active unencumbered RN Tennessee state license One year of Epic experience Requirements COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster. SKILLS/ ABILITIES/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
