About the job

The Finance Application Access, Security & Controls team is looking for a Senior Financial Management Systems Analyst to provide Global Financial Systems Support. Our team is a go to point for access to Worldwide SAS Financial Systems responsible for Security and Control of Cloud and Inhouse applications. We have members in four continents and multiple countries providing round the clock support to SAS and our external userbase.

As a Senior Financial Management Systems Analyst, you will:

  • Provides end-to-end business process guidance and solution definition for the design and configuration of financial and accounting systems, including reporting and ancillary applications.
  • Provides leadership in incident and change management. Manages and prioritizes support tickets and system enhancement requests. Conducts root cause analysis and takes appropriate action to prevent recurrence.
  • Responsible for access management, system configuration and administration of finance, accounting, payroll and related systems. Manages user access with appropriate documentation and approvals; periodically audits access.
  • Acts as a liaison with internal and external auditors on systems assurance portions of financial audits. Provides subject matter expertise on pronouncements and regulations applicable to accounting and financial data processing.
  • Provides clear and concise communication regarding accounting and financial systems, to include end user documentation, contributions to policies, testing procedures and plans, project status updates, process flows and process audit statements identifying control risks.
  • Ensures all applicable security policies and processes are followed by everyone, to support the organization's secure software development goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Typically requires 6-8 years experience working in financial or accounting systems support. Experience in the following areas desired: change management and process analysis, systems implementation, administration, auditing, and financial reporting.
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or related field.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification/Licensure : Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), OR Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), OR Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Experience in working with Top 5 accounting firms on a Global project.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion, Workday or Cloud Based ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of University and/or Public auditing policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local laws, regulations, and standards governing all aspects of the utilization of computer systems.
  • Knack for Customer service and providing support to solve a problem.
