Job Responsibilities:
  • Define and maintain technical project implementation materials including technical implementation methods and processes, instructional guides, and training materials
  • Analyze customers' technical requirements and objectives to develop technical implementation processes and solutions that will meet their needs.
  • Establish and maintain data conversion methods, processes, documentation, and tools to ensure efficient, repeatable, and consistent data migrations
  • Provide specific data conversion services to support project scope delivery
  • Provide budgets and estimates for data conversion services
  • Manage and track project budgets for data conversion services
  • Work directly with Project Managers for delivery of data conversion services
  • Develop and deliver project deliverables such data conversion deliverables and other functional/technical design documents as required for projects.
  • Provide implementation and post-implementation technical implementation support as needed.
Required Skills/Experience:
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in the large software data migration projects preferably in the court / judicial industry
  • Experience working with Oracle and MS SQL Server RDBMS.
  • Experience working with Oracle database clients for example: SQL Plus and/or SQL Developer, and MS SQL Server clients, for example: SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Strong competency in structured query language (SQL) including PLSQL (Oracle) and TSQL (MS SQL Server).
  • Experience in design and implementation of ETL processes.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Management Information Systems, or related field
  • Software engineering technical knowledge, understanding and experience
  • Experience in data conversion methods and processes
  • Ability to travel as needed
Desirable Skills/Experience:
  • Court case management software experience
  • Software project implementation experience
  • Experience in database design and administration is a plus.
  • Experience with related technologies including Java, .Net, XML, XSD, JSON, data replication, and data warehouse is a plus.

Job Description Summary

We are equivant, a leading software provider for the justice community, and we've opened a role for a Data Conversion Specialist in our equivant - Court business unit.

This Data Conversion Specialist will leverage our Case Management software application to help our customers from coast to coast improve their daily court case management taking the process to a whole new level.
