Iowa Wild Group Sales Account Executive

Account Executive, Group Sales is responsible for driving sales of group tickets for the Iowa Wild. This role will focus on planning and coordinating large group events, group-specific theme nights, and utilizing menu of FEPs (Fan Experience Packages) to optimize group experience. Responsibilities will be derived from making outgoing calls and setting sales-based appointments.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Consistently deliver high-level of customer service to both internal and external clients helping to provide world-class service.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of sales activity, including 60-100 phone calls per day.
  • Meet established sales goals (to be set by department leader).
  • Prospects and qualifies all new leads and referrals for season tickets and group sales.
  • Ability to utilize CRM for database management and completion of specific campaigns and other general sales opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling and referrals with current and prospective clients.
  • Manage sales kiosks, service clients and work other related assignments on game days.
  • Builds relationships with prospects via phone inquiries and enhances those relationships through face-to-face sales appointments.
  • Regularly attend Season Ticket Member events to maintain and service current ticket holders as well as prospect new business opportunities.
  • Available traditional business hours in addition to evenings, weekends and/or holidays for games or events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements

Formal Education & Certification
  • College degree required, or equivalent education and related experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience.
Knowledge & Experience
  • Proficient computer skills including ability to work with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of Paciolan & SalesForce is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of hockey preferred but not required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to formulate solutions and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to multitask and maintain deadlines in a high-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with high standards for quality; ability to keep accurate and detailed records.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team and results oriented environment.
Work Conditions
  • Ability to work traditional business hours in addition to evenings, weekends and/or holidays for games or events.
  • Physical requirements include sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, lifting, grasping, etc.
  • Lifting up to 30 lbs.
