If you're dedicated to helping others, apply today Responsibilities: Provide service to existing clients, including policy updates, quotes, payments, and answering inquiries. Handle customer calls and correspondence related to new or existing insurance policies, and service all claims. Assist in understanding and meeting the needs of new clients, researching policy options, and negotiating with carriers. Schedule appointments or client calls to review policies, assess coverage needs, and bind renewals. Resolve product or service issues by identifying concerns, explaining solutions, and ensuring resolution. Review audits or policies, verify accuracy, and facilitate corrections between clients and carriers. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions in the agency management system. Collaborate with team members, mentor staff, and participate in meetings. Qualifications: Hold the required state insurance license with one year of insurance account management experience. Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products, rating procedures, and industry operations. Exhibit excellent customer focus, phone etiquette, written and verbal communication skills, as well as proficiency in math and reading. Possess a sense of urgency, attention to detail, multitasking ability, and problem-solving skills. Have excellent time management skills and proficiency in technology, including agency management systems.
