Our rapidly growing network spans OB/GYN physicians, breast health centers, high-risk pregnancy centers, two laboratories, urogynecology care, and fertility centers. Together, Axia Women's Health puts women first by delivering the personalized care needed for women to lead healthier, happier lives.We have an opening for a Patient Service Representative (PSR) at our West Essex OBGYN practice in Livingston, NJ. This will be part time - 2 - 3 days a week. Essential Functions:Greeting patients and visitors, assisting, and directing them accordingly to the appropriate waiting area.Paging or phoning appropriate personnel to meet and escort patients to the exam room.Explaining financial requirements to patients, collecting, and recording copayments as required.Performing registration functions for new and existing patients and activating patient files.Promptly and professionally answering and routing calls to appropriate personnel, paging, offering voicemail, or redirecting calls as needed.Retrieving and appropriately routing any messages from the answering service.Providing additional support to patients and medical staff and performing other duties as assigned.Courteously screening solicitors for relevance to organizational needs.Adhering to infection control and safety guidelines as well as maintaining confidentiality regarding all patients and following confidentiality policies per HIPAA compliance.Other duties as assigned.Qualities & Skills:Excellent customer service skills & communication skills.Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.Ability to maintain composure and navigate a fast-paced, innovative environment.Team player.Ability to work a flexible schedule and provide coverage at satellite location(s), where applicable, as needed.Education & Experience:High School Diploma or GEDMedical Receptionist/PSR experience preferred.At Axia Women's Health, we're passionate about creating a community where our colleagues and patients feel empowered to be their full, authentic selves.We welcome all individuals - without regards to gender, race, ethnicity, ability, or sexual orientation - and proudly celebrate our individual experiences and differences.
