We are seeking a Contract & Credit Manager to join the team at our corporate headquarters in downtown Clayton, MO. XTRA Lease's small team environment and focus on collaboration, cross-training, and teamwork are a great fit if you are looking to expand your professional skillset across multiple areas of Corporate Customer Finance. Your primary responsibilities will center on our business customers, their lines of credit, and our business contracts and customer credit. If you have a Business Administration degree 3-5+ years of experience working in corporate financial services, are comfortable multitasking, possess strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills; this job could be a good fit for you.

What will the Contract & Credit Manager be responsible for at XTRA Lease?

-Monitoring new customer credit applications and ensuring timely review and approval in the eCredit scoring system.

-Utilizing various systems to establish customers' credit and/or increase credit limits, including XTRA Lease's Insight equipment management system, Moody's eCredit system, and MS D365 Financial Statement System.

-Providing input for improving credit scoring models and assist in decision making process regarding customer credit and credit system changes.

-In cases of bad debt, assisting with the decision making process to file suit or place for collection.

-Prepare bad debt write offs, monthly reserve reports, legal demand letters, and other documentation as needed to support the Credit and Contract functions as a whole.

-Managing outside collection agency activity as necessary.

-Acting as a Customer Financial Services support liaison for legal department documentation requests and support functionality of Contract Services Manager position, in addition to other as-needed departmental support and cross-training over time.

-Supporting Region and Branch users regarding customer credit inquiries, issues, etc.

-Ensuring all associated customer accounts are properly tiered in eCredit to capture total credit exposure.

-Assisting in making credit decisions and providing input for improving credit scoring models

- Attending credit conferences and staying updated on emerging trends in credit

Skills you'll need to succeed at XTRA Lease:

-Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field

-3-5+ years of corporate financial services or related experience

-Strong technical knowledge of credit, credit reporting, and related principles

-Proven experience making credit decisions & reviewing business contracts

-Experience with Moody's eCredit scoring system (Nice-to-Have- similar software experience will apply). Familiarity with Dun & Bradstreet reporting, National Association of Credit Management (NACM) also a plus.

-Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities with competing timelines.

-Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by the company now or in the future.
