JOB PURPOSE

Assist the principal in providing school-wide leadership so as to promote the educational development of each student and to ensure the effective operation of the assigned school.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Master's degree (MA) from an accredited college or university or equivalent.
  • Professional Certification in Educational Leadership in Applicable State.
  • Two to five years relevant experience (in school administration preferred) and/or training.
  • Experience in student instruction.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Successful results of criminal and employment background check.
  • Such alternatives to the above requirements as CSUSA may find appropriate and acceptable.

Keys Gate Charter School is a tuition-free public charter elementary and middle school operated by a dedicated staff of individuals who care to make a difference in the education of the children in south Miami-Dade County.

Keys Gate Charter School is located in Homestead, Florida, near the Keys Gate residential community, on a 10-acre site at the corner of Kingman Road and Palm Avenue. The facility is 71,000 square feet, one-story with a fenced activity field located behind the school (156,307 S.F.) and a second field that is 36,216 square feet.

Keys Gate Charter School earned a C school grade for the 2023-24 school year. Our goal is to be an A rated school
