Senior Payload Field Engineer

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Senior Payload Field Engineer (Hardware) to join our team in San Diego, California. This role involves 50% travel throughout CONUS and OCONUS locations in support of USAF exercises.
Responsibilities include supporting the operations and maintenance of a complex tactical communication system, performing preflight system tests, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and collaborating with internal engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of military radios or communication systems, experience with operating radio equipment and general RF knowledge, and the ability to travel to hazardous deployment areas.
Basic qualifications for the role require a Bachelor's degree and 9 years of relevant communication experience, along with an active Secret security clearance.
