As a senior accountant for Swope Health, you will be part of a team to support our caregivers who provide care for the people who need it most. This role will prepare profit and loss statements by department and communicate results to department managers and directors. Perform balance sheet reconciliation to ensure insurance receivable are properly recorded and accurate. Assist in contract and grant management including compliance and reporting. If working on reconciliations and reports in a mission driven environment appeals to you, this role is for you.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of three years experience in the Accounting field.C.P.A preferred.Master's Degree preferred

Successful Candidates will have:

3-5 years' experience
Strong communication skills

Experience & Qualifications:

Detail oriented and be able to analyze work.

Confidentiality of work required.Experience in maintaining and reviewing general ledger accounts.

Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.

Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
