What You'll Do
As a Wholesale Representative, you will be a critical part of our sales team, responsible for building and maintaining relationships with wholesale partners and distributors. Your role will involve promoting our product line, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth in the wholesale segment of the cannabis market. This position is a has an annual salary along with a commission structure, allowing you to have control over your income
Job Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development: Proactively seek out and establish relationships with wholesale partners, distributors, and retailers to expand our product reach.
- Product Presentation: Showcase our cannabis products, explaining their features, benefits, and compliance with regulations.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with wholesale partners to ensure ongoing collaboration.
- Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities.
- Order Management: Process wholesale orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with wholesale partners to optimize sales opportunities.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales and market feedback to the sales manager.
- Compliance: Ensure that all sales activities comply with state and federal cannabis regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of sales experience, preferably in the cannabis or related industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and a proactive approach to sales.
- Reliable transportation for in-person sales visits, as needed.
- A passion for the cannabis industry and a commitment to the company's mission and values.
- Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds if relevant to job duties listed above.
- Must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the workday.
- Must be capable of working in front of a computer for extended periods of time based on job duties listed above.
