Hours and Location:

This pharmacy serves the local community Monday through Friday from 8:30 am. to 5:00 p.m. We are located at 100 E. Carroll St. Salisbury, MD 21801. Enjoy a friendly, relaxed environment; this is a not a big-box retail atmosphere. This pharmacy is located in the Inglewood neighborhood and works in partnership with Heartland health to benefit the entire community. This is a great opportunity to give back.

How You'll Make an Impact:

As a Pharmacist-In-Charge on the Specialty Pharmacy team at Omnicell, you'll work at the top of your license, contribute to a community's well-being, and lead the pharmacy team. With autonomy, you'll drive efficient, effective, and continually improving pharmacy operations, while being a part of a global organization dedicated to innovation in medication management.

  • Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise and guide with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence.
  • Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients.
  • Business acumen and leadership; own pharmacy operations and embrace continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team's development.
  • Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of the specialty disease state of 340B, HIV, Hepatitis and other specialty disease states.
  • Clinical oversight and industry innovation; committee member participation as Omnicell leads innovation in medication management and elevates the roles of the pharmacist in healthcare.

What You'll Bring:
  • Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
  • Successful completion of state pharmacy board examination.
  • Pharmacist license current and in good standing in the state of Maryland.
  • Maintain continuing education requirements as part of pharmacist license maintenance.
  • A growth mindset and maintain any continuing education requirements.
  • Two to Three years of experience in the practice of pharmacy.
  • One to Two years of experience in pharmacy management preferred.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
  • Ability to see distinctions in colors and shapes.
