PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides strategic leadership of short- and long-term goals through effective communication of the company's mission and core values. Directs and controls the broad activities of the business unit(s) through the interpretation, application and implementation of company-wide policies and processes. Ensures that budgets and schedules are within company requirements, with significant organizational responsibility for planning, staffing, budgeting, and expense management. Provides leadership, guidance and coaching for all direct reports to maintain an engaged and productive workforce. Collaborates with employees in establishing clear development plans for succession planning and advancement of future leaders. Responsible for profit and loss management of facilities/services in the region, ensuring optimal performance of operations. Participates in budget planning and ensures adherence to the established budget, analyzing capital expenditures and operational budgets. Collaborates with FVC Operations management in developing and implementing business plans. Reviews financial performance with Facility Managers and Medical Directors on a quarterly basis. Coordinates and oversees logistics associated with patient care within the assigned region. Develops systems to evaluate and improve performance of FVC care delivery. Collaborates with medical directors to achieve quality and utilization outcomes. Leads business development functions for affiliated and new centers. Implements guidelines for new service line implementation and drives the FVC Staffing Model. Collaborates with HR for recruitment and personnel management. Drives teamwork within each facility or program and leads communication sessions to facilitate strong communication processes. Ensures compliance with FVC and FMCNA quality standards and oversees training and education for facility employees. Maintains relationships with Medical Directors and facilitates communication regarding various operational issues. Markets FVC facilities and services to physicians and coordinates with the Infrastructure department for new facility planning. Evaluates and analyzes data for operational planning and productivity purposes. Serves as a patient and customer advocate, addressing concerns and monitoring patient satisfaction. Other duties as assigned. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: Day to day work includes desk and personal computer work and interaction with patients, facility staff, and physicians. The work environment is characteristic of a healthcare facility with air temperature control and moderate noise levels. May be exposed to infectious materials. At least 70% travel is required. SUPERVISION: May be responsible for the direct supervision of various levels of Operations staff. EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree required; Advanced Degree preferred. EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS: 6+ years' related experience. 3+ years' experience as a Manager or in a senior managerial role. Strong management skills with the ability to lead cohesive teams. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Five years healthcare administrative and management experience required. Results oriented with demonstrated leadership competencies. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite is necessary.
