Description

The Associate Creative Director will help shape and grow Union Home Mortgage's in-house creative marketing team and be a leader in ideation for content development. Responsible for translating business strategies into original creative concepts and approaches, this person will know how to differentiate the UHM brand and drive business results through compelling content. They will also collaborate with a team of videographers, designers and writers, overseeing multiple projects all the way through to execution, ensuring concepts are delivered seamlessly and optimally across channels and platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervise core creative group within the marketing department, providing creative direction, inspiration, guidance, and feedback
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and internal partners to set the creative strategy to bring the UHM brand to life across initiatives. Uses this strategy to guide the priorities and output of the creative marketing team
  • Develop creative platforms and design concepts that meet business objectives of the organization, advance UHM's brand strategy and differentiate the brand
  • Provide support for strategies, graphics, video and content writing initiatives
  • Review and perform quality control to ensure all work adheres to brand standards
  • Maintain brand consistency throughout all marketing projects
  • Support and coach the creative team on their professional development and coaching toward professional goals
Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in a Marketing related field
SKILLS REQUIRED
  • 7+ years of experience in a similar role with an agency or brand, financial services a big plus
  • Proven leadership skills with several years of experience with people management
  • Natural storyteller, with excellent writing skills and ability to bring the brand to life
  • Strong ability to provide clear creative direction and provide timely and helpful feedback to improve the creative team's workflow and processes
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to translate creative concepts to key stakeholders and internal business partners
  • Creative problem solver with ability to think outside of the box
  • Highly skilled in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Premiere Pro
