**The Role**
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for achieving profitable sales growth and brand awareness by:
**Achieving Sales Objectives:**
* Overseeing a regional sales territory working with Representative Firms and staff to ensure profitable sales growth
* Developing new customers by performing thorough territory analysis both with Representative Firms and independently
* Presenting to key accounts and prospective customers both with Representative Firms and independently
**Territory, Direct Representative and Representative Firm Development:**
* Developing and executing annual territory growth plans
* Cultivating strong working relationships with Representative Firms and Direct Representatives to obtain solid business plans and processes to effectively promote and sell Burke products in each territory
* Assessing the talent in the Representative organizations and developing a strategy to fill gaps to build a high performing sales organization
* Engaging Representative Firms through regular follow-up, site visits, trade show participation and traveling with them to customers
* Ensuring accurate and timely management of Representative Firms project pipelines and forecasts
**Customer Engagement & Development:**
* Increasing understanding of current and potential customers, their needs and wants and how to use this information to increase BCI Burkes value proposition
* Creating and delivering presentations to Representative Firms and customers
**Teamwork**

**Qualifications That Move Us**
* Bachelor's Degree (B. A.) in a related field is required
* 5-7 years of work history with prior sales management experience working with, or for, independent manufacturers Representative Firms
* Experience working in the commercial recreational market, calling on architects, general contractors, program managers, directors, or purchasers
* Proven ability to analyze a sales territory, develop and execute a territory management plan, prospect and cold call
* Knowledge and experience working on projects using RFP/RFQ steps, timelines, communications and overall project management
