Primary Responsibilities

Expertly file liens on jobsites and where applicable and/or needed

Execute lien filing process with a working knowledge of state-specific filing requirements

Serve as the subject matter expert for liens and work closely with Credit and Collections departments

Ensure lien release forms are updated in a timely manner when changes are made with each state’s lien waiver requirements

Oversee entire lien filing and release process and create an efficient workflow

Collaborate with Credit Department as needed on rights for possible accounts

Work with the Collections Department for possible lien rights on deficient accounts

Skills & Qualifications

Expansive and solid knowledge of construction lien laws

Professional phone etiquette

Strong decision-making skills, even when things are moving fast

Ability to juggle tasks of competing priority

Must possess strong leadership and people skills

Skilled in Excel and/or Google Sheets

Commitment to excellent customer service

Detail-oriented and able to perform on deadline

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Extensive knowledge of fair debt and collection management

Strong knowledge of state commercial laws

Rental equipment company experience is a big plus.
