Global Supply Chain Strategic Sourcing Director

Key Role: Provide operational and strategic leadership to the Global Supply Chain (GSC) team and internal stakeholders, and help drive the ongoing development and delivery of an innovative, enhanced, and integrated Global Supply Chain capability to the Booz Allen workforce. Partner with technical experts to develop long term technology sourcing strategy, and identify, negotiate and implement strategic agreements with key partners to improve access to key technologies, reduce costs and improve efficiencies. Conduct spend analysis and recommendations for the stand-up of Category Management processes, and develop enhanced Supplier Relationship and Performance frameworks to drive improved engagement with supply base. Guide the evolution of Supply Chain Risk Management best practices in alignment with emerging risks and customer requirements. Connect efforts across the internal and external business to drive project progress and author and edit GSC briefings, talking points, and presentations on initiatives for stakeholders and other audiences. Understand and communicate priorities, and engage in team engagement, event planning, and operational execution. Basic Qualifications: 12+ years of experience working in a professional environment

7+ years of experience working leadership and management roles related to procurement, supply chain operations, supplier management, or program management

Experience in developing Strategic Sourcing strategy in Technology or Aerospace and Defense industries

Experience with project management and project development

Experience leading through others, developing strong leaders, and effectively managing change

Experience with briefing all levels of staff, including senior leadership

Experience with creating polished reports and decks for presentation to senior leadership

Ability to be detail orientated with a strategic and analytical outlook

Ability to obtain a security clearance

Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications: Knowledge of system integration and the use of information technology and advanced intelligence systems and tools

Ability to support a fast-paced, high-volume, and diverse workload

Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $139,400.00 to $259,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
