As the Principal Deputy Director for the Office of Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chains you will:

Oversee and direct subordinate offices senior executive Deputy Directors, including Business Operations, Analysis and Strategic Investment, Batteries and Critical Materials, and Manufacturing and Workforce Deployment.

Responsible for catalyzing the energy sector industrial base through targeted investments that establish and secure domestic clean energy supply chains and manufacturing.

Ensure that MESC serves as a supply chain and project management center of excellence for the Department of Energy.

Directs organizational activities and framing strategic plans based on broad organizational assessments and evaluations of long-term organizational objectives.
Determine financial and personnel resources needed to achieve mission objectives and support mission operations.
Leads Department's efforts to enhance and accelerate clean energy demonstrations.

Represents the Office in meetings with high level officials within and outside the Federal Government, state and local government, Congress, and industry leaders.

May Act as MESC Director during absences.
