The ideal candidate should possess a Top Secret security clearance and have foundational knowledge and experience with Cisco routers. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Cisco routers.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues.
Participate in the implementation of new network solutions and upgrades.
Collaborate with senior network engineers on various projects.
Document network configurations and maintain network diagrams.
Ensure compliance with network security protocols and standards.
Provide technical support and assistance to users and team members.
Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest networking technologies.
Required Qualifications:
Active Top Secret security clearance. (Ideally CI Polygraph)
Open to occasional travel to on site locations
Basic knowledge of Cisco routers and networking principles.
Understanding of TCP/IP protocols, LAN/WAN configuration, and network security.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Cisco certifications (e.g., CCENT, CCNA) are highly advantageous.
Prior experience in a network engineering role is a plus.
