Reconcile assigned benefit accounts and approve billing statements. Ensuring timely submission of sensitive documents to internal and external stakeholders; sending required paperwork, supporting the processing of leave requests, and managing time off for various types of LOAs (i.e., Workers Compensation, FMLA, ADA, PLOAs, etc.). Coordinating the LOA process, collaborating with management, health services, and payroll as needed. Monitoring employee leaves/intermittent leaves, providing usage reports to employees and management. Monitoring and tracking employee health benefit premiums during unpaid LOAs. Correspond with employees and management to communicate key dates and milestones during LOAs, and draft specific letters for time-off requests and terminations. Establish FMLA claims, code documentation according to internal workflows Maintain employee LOA files to ensure data accuracy. Create, maintain, and distribute reports on LOAs. Stay informed about state and federal regulations related to LOAs and disability accommodations and recommend process improvements to management. Coordinate wellness initiatives and programs. Implement changes and improvements to benefit and leave processes. QUALIFICATIONS: Associates degree in HR, Business, related degree, or equivalent education and/or experience required.
