The Facilities Maintenance Specialist will engage in vital maintenance tasks such as repairs, carpentry, electrical work, painting, landscaping, and plumbing under the supervision of seasoned maintenance professionals.

Attention to detail, effective time management, and proficiency in managing work orders through technology are essential qualities for the Facilities Maintenance Specialist.


Compensation:
$26-$28/hr.

Work Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
Includes cell phone stipend and mileage reimbursement.

The Facilities Maintenance Specialist is eligible for benefits starting the first of the month following 30 days of employment.

  • Qualifications for the Facilities Maintenance Specialist

A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a Housekeeping Porter role or one (1) year of prior maintenance technician experience in property management for commercial or multi-family properties is preferred.

Strong motivation, time management skills, and the ability to follow instructions while working independently or as part of a team are necessary.

Basic knowledge in landscaping, electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, drywall installation and repairs, and flooring installation and repair is required.

Experience with janitorial equipment, both manual and powered, and handling chemicals with a strong emphasis on safety protocols is essential.

Reliable transportation is required to carry necessary tools, including power washing equipment.

Familiarity with landlord/tenant laws, State and Federal Labor Laws, Fair Housing Laws, and a commitment to non-discriminatory practices is expected.
