Description

Position Summary:

Senior Director, Finance Systems & Architecture will lead and oversee the technical deployment of financial systems, architecture, and related processes, ensuring the optimization of financial operations. Overall responsibilities for the finance systems, solution design, and experience with key platforms such as Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion), Oracle EPM, Blackline, Kyriba, and Workiva. The Director will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of finance master data, implementing effective SOX controls, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:

Finance Systems Leadership:

  • Lead the overall strategy and vision for finance systems architecture to support the organization's financial goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
  • Provide guidance on the selection, implementation, and optimization of finance systems, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Make recommendations on current team processes and best practices, including intake processes, project management, task management, and document management activities.
Master Data Management:
  • Oversee the governance and maintenance of finance master data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Implement best practices for data quality, consistency, and integration across finance systems.
  • Serve as Finance Systems Data Architect in designing solutions and offering guidance on reporting requirements as well as data flows between systems.
Solution Design:
  • Drive the design and development of innovative and efficient solutions that enhance financial processes and meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to design and implement scalable and sustainable financial solutions.
  • Make recommendations for process improvement as well as ability to deploy technical solutions or application improvements.
SOX Controls:
  • Establish and maintain a robust SOX control environment for finance systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and implement improvements as needed.
  • Review vendors for SOX compliance, including review and commentary on SOC I/II reports and adherence to company policies.
  • Support Audit benchmarking, including performance against industry standards, evaluating performance improvements, and providing data driven insights on existing processes and controls.
  • Make recommendations on existing environment strategy, deployment processes, and change controls to ensure optimization and adherence to corporate policies.
Platform Expertise:
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for finance systems, including Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion), Oracle EPM, Blackline, Kyriba, Workiva, and other relevant platforms.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert on financial systems, including Blackline, Workiva, Kyriba, and Oracle Financials, specifically around Expense and Cash Management.
General Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of current products and services offered by the company.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and function within the guidelines of HIPAA.
  • Completes assigned compliance training and other educational programs as required.
  • Maintains compliant with AdaptHealth's Compliance Program.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Eight (8) plus years' experience in finance systems, solution design, & architecture.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion), Oracle EPM, Blackline, Kyriba, and Workiva, or like systems.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Work environment will be stressful at times, as overall office activities and work levels fluctuate.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, stretch, stand, and sit for extended periods of time.
  • Subject to long periods of sitting and exposure to computer screen.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions of wrists, hands, and/or fingers due to extensive computer use.
  • Mental ability to lead others and change processes in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds as needed.
  • Excellent ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with internal and external customers with the ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion, courtesy, and respect for privacy.
