Are you a seasoned customer service professional looking for a new challenge? Imperial is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Customer Service Representative . In this position, you will play a crucial role in our sales cycle, providing support from the initial inquiry to post-delivery assistance. Working under minimal supervision, you will process orders and quotations, engaging with external sales representatives, customers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Process orders and quotations with attention to detail and accuracy.
Interface directly with external sales representatives and customers, offering support throughout the entire sales cycle.
Collaborate internally with Regional Sales Managers, Design Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Manufacturing teams.
Utilize strong data entry skills and critical thinking to clarify any discrepancies with customers or the sales team.
Perform customer service duties, including file maintenance, updating records, and addressing customer questions regarding product, quality, and shipping issues.
Maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with co-workers.
Demonstrate the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, ensuring successful task completion.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Handle additional work when required and collaborate effectively in group settings.
Knowledge of LTL (Less Than Truckload) shipping.
Experience with ERP systems (Required).
Familiarity with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is preferred.
Manufacturing experience is preferred, including knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years of prior customer service experience.
Professional communication skills with a focus on writing and grammar accuracy.
Ability to read specifications and drawings is preferred.
