Program Director of NursingFull-Time Position w/ alternating weekends 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMBenefits 401K Health Insurance Dental and Vision Insurance Health Savings Account Employee Discount Program Employee Assistance Program Paid Time Off Pet Insurance AD&D and Life Tuition Reimbursement Position SummaryThe Child and Special Needs Unit Program Director maintains direct oversight of the clinical and administrative operations of Westborough Behavioral Healthcare Hospitals' Child and Special Needs Unit. The Program Director will be responsible for establishing a strong child behavioral health model that guides the program's clinical framework and service provision.Essential Duties Summary Lead a multidisciplinary team of clinical/consultative and support staff, to support the social-emotional, behavioral, and educational development of children the program cares for.• Ensure the collection, review, analysis, and reporting of data related to outcomes for children, families, and programs served.• Facilitate team meetings and training for staff, childcare providers, parents/caregivers, and external stakeholders. Using a range of techniques, including positive behavioral support, and a treatment model that designed to help stabilize children in crisis, reduce high-risk symptoms, and support children and special needs child-adolescence as they build skills related to overcoming behavioral health challenges. Assist with Structured daily programming that is designed to engage each patient in a range of developmentally appropriately therapy, school, and daily living experiences, as well s Therapeutic activities to help organize children/adolescents in a time of crisis, provide opportunities to learn and practice coping skills, and offer a measure of each child's response to a different situation. Work closely and in collaboration with Nursing staff to ensure patient care and regulatory requirements are met. Administratively, the Program Director will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, orienting, training, supervising, and managing staff, comprising clinical consultants and specialized support staff. They will familiarize themselves with the NRPPD staffing grid, balance budgeted FTE's along with other cost for the units. About:Westborough Behavioral Healthcare Hospital (WBHH) provides psychiatric stabilization diagnosis treatments for Children, Adolescents and Adult populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Our goal is to ensure patients and their loved ones feel comfortable and are well informed regarding treatment options.We are conveniently located in Westborough near the intersection of Route 495 and Route 9. The hospital operates 24/7.RequirementsEducation and/or Licensure Master's degree in a license-eligible mental health field such as, nursing, social work, psychology or related field with a focus or experience Child and Special Needs behavioral Health. Independently licensed as an LICSW, LMHC, or RN in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Experience 5+ years of managerial/clinical experience in a therapeutic treatment setting that serves young children and Special Needs population; computer proficiency, in the use of computer systems for clinical information management; Excellent oral/ written communication skills; Able to demonstrate ability to produce written reports in a timely manner.
