Social Media Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The Social Media Coordinator supports the marketing team in the development and execution of multi-channel marketing tactics including social media, proofing assets and assists with execution.
Essential Functions
Work alongside creative services team to concept and create high quality content and creative ideas for social media platforms
Own social content calendar
Manage all social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, YouTube and LinkedIn)
Lead community management by maintaining an acute awareness of audience
sentiment/response,
and engaging with Cellular Sales audiences
Partner with customer service team to escalate and respond to comments and messages.
Schedule content for social posts and create tracking URL tags
Proof marketing content to ensure accuracy and consistency
Stay up-to-date on best practices for existing and emerging social media platforms
Monitor social media trends to help generate engaging and high-quality content
Regularly monitor all social media platforms to track relevant mentions of the brand
Identify positive user generated content that can be leveraged on our social media channels
Monitor and report rogue social media accounts that infringe on the Cellular Sales brand
Partner with analytics team lead to pull monthly social media reporting to drive overall strategy
Assist with the production of high-quality video, audio, and other digital content and attend photo and video shoots.
Work in Canva to update promotional marketing assets
Research and monitor social media presence of Verizon along with competitors
Manage monthly KPI reporting and metrics
Own and manage our intranet sites with social content for employees to use on their personal social media accounts.
Build Employee Brand Ambassador program by partnering with top sales representatives in the company to advocate for social selling and UGC content.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
Must be able to sit for long periods of time.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Travel
Up to 10% travel
Required Education and Experience
4-year degree
At least 1-3 years managing a variety of different social media channels with proven success in driving engagement
Additional Eligibility Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred experience: Hootsuite
