Job Description

Supports and leads preparation of proposals, presentations, marketing materials and other business development and corporate materials for primarily federal customers. Proposals will range in size from $5K to >$1B. Will work on company/client sensitive information and must maintain confidentiality of information.

  • Supports development and execution of social media strategies.
  • Leads the coordination, preparation, review, and editing of text, detailed graphics, and page layout design for documents such as proposals, qualifications, social media content, and presentation slides as assigned by Business Development Department Management.
  • Confers with Proposal Department Managers to establish formats, font sizes, templates, etc. in accordance with proposal instructions.
  • Maintains configuration control for proposals, marketing materials, social media content, website, and other corporate documents, including logos.
  • Creates engaging content to drive website traffic and engagement across multiple social media platforms.
  • Responsible for generating and publishing content, optimizing company pages on various platforms, moderating user-generated content, analyzing social data, and collaborating with other departments.
  • Captures and maintains data including entries into corporate database systems; exhibits strong computer skills.
  • Ensures that all proposal and related documents comply with company identity program style and format (logo, color, etc.).
  • Provides word processing support to authors and compiles final documents.
  • Maintains confidentiality of information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Business Development Department Management.

Job Requirements

  • Preferred Bachelor Degree and 2 years of relevant experience-technical writing, proposal production or proposal coordination
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products, including Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and Access
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with social media marketing / analytics
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work well independently as needed
  • Basic understanding of Request for Proposal (RFP) process preferred

Federal Government Clearance:

This position may require the ability to obtain a government clearance. This position may require reviews and test for absence of any illegal drugs along with a background investigation by the Federal government in order to obtain an access authorization prior to employment, and subsequent reinvestigations may be required.
