IT Operations Coordinator Position Summary: The IT Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal role encompassing both technical prowess and administrative acumen. This position is integral to maintaining and overseeing the organization's information technology systems and networks. Job Responsibilities: Technical Support and System Management: Provide technical support to staff, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth IT operations. Manage IT inventory, including procurement, tracking, and equipment disposal. Perform basic IT tasks such as setting up monitors and printers. Project Leadership: Lead IT projects from inception to completion, focusing on process improvements, system enhancements, and data conversion. Oversee Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes to facilitate seamless communication. Manage special projects like transitioning to a paperless Accounts Payable system. Corporate Approvals and Documentation: Draft internal approval documents (Ringi) for IT-related purchases. Maintain accurate records and documentation of IT activities. User Management: Register new users for ERP systems and other software platforms. Administer user access, permissions, and security settings. Assist in onboarding and offboarding procedures for laptops and software. Provide training to users on IT systems and best practices. IT Policy Development and Compliance: Develop and implement IT policies and best practices. Ensure data security and accessibility in compliance with regulations. Maintain adherence to relevant laws and regulations. Office Administration: Manage office equipment, including cell phones and copy machines. Coordinate repairs, upgrades, and replacements as required. Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration preferred. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ and MCSA desirable. Experience in IT support, administration, or project management beneficial. Technical Skills: Proficiency in networking concepts, hardware troubleshooting, and security protocols. Familiarity with ERP systems, CRMs, and cloud services. Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills to liaise with colleagues, vendors, and non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to tackle diverse IT challenges. Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing documentation and inventory. Additional Qualities: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Project management skills for overseeing special initiatives. Familiarity with Accounts Payable processes considered advantageous.
