This individual will manage all aspects of product and process engineering, design, fabrication, and testing. Additionally, the Director of Engineering will ultimately oversee shop operations including the production team and facilities maintenance while enforcing and maintaining safety and efficiency standards . Responsibilities Will Include

Managing the Engineering Department and Production Shop including the review of product specifications received from Sales; scheduling and assigning tasks; and coordinating work of the engineering and production staff. Lead the engineering staff with product concept and design including developing new product concepts and designs to meet customer requirements and market opportunities. Develop and administer procedures and methods to ensure quality standards are met and maintained. Review job releases for thoroughness (ex. bill of materials, schematics, layouts, etc.) and generate product documentation including schematics, parts layouts, customer manuals, and ECOs. Ensure current and accurate costing of jobs; assist Sales with quotations, product specifications, and customer support, and improving product designs by reducing component and labor costs. Develop and lead overall vendor relationship management programs and assist field personnel with field installations, startup, and troubleshooting. Mentor and motivate team to perform at their highest level, including ensuring team members have appropriate training and resources and manage personnel related matters (ex. recruiting, performance reviews, open-door discussions, and addressing disciplinary or performance problems according to company policy). Maintain compliance with all aspects of Trucent safety program, including hazard communication, PPE requirements, and attending scheduled safety training. Travel up to 30% of the time. Position Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering is required. Advanced degrees are desired. A minimum of 15 years of experience in a process or manufacturing engineering discipline including strong modular design, project management, product development, P&L, and leadership skills. A minimum of 5 years of experience with industrial water treatment process technologies and solutions or membrane systems.
