Overview:
The IT Compliance Analyst contributes to, executes, and supports the IT Compliance Program. This position must be able to effectively collaborate with IT owners, peers, and senior management on a daily basis to satisfy all applicable regulatory, industry and customer requirements. The IT Compliance Analyst has a firm grasp of Information Technology and Security operations within large-scale IT environments and is well-equipped to advance the strategic goals of implementing appropriate IT controls across the organization.
Duties: Manage the execution of control assessments by developing deployment schedules, managing the assessment backlog, and tracking completion status.
Analyze assessment responses and scoring against applicable control framework requirements.
Prepare and present productivity, quality, and associated KPI reports to peers and management.
Communicate with control owners and managers to resolve assignment issues and provide general assistance to accurately complete the assessment.
Manage the creation and tracking of any remediation items resulting from insufficient controls.
Develop and update IT Compliance control and process documentation as directed.
Develop control monitoring methods and mechanisms, as needed, to support IT Compliance Program initiatives.
Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience: 3+ years of direct experience in an IT Compliance, Risk or Governance role or 5+ years relevant IT oversight, inspection, or management experience.
Prior exposure to implementing, assessing, or overseeing control frameworks such as NY DFS, NIST, CIS, CCM, NAIC, TSC, or similar.
Experience with designing, implementing, or assessing cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
Experience with implementing or maintaining data within a Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
Strong skills in enterprise collaboration tools. Microsoft Teams is preferred.
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint are preferred.
Experience with the Azure DevOps platform is preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Online products SharePoint and Power BI are preferred.
Experience with the ServiceNow CMDB platform is a plus.
Experience with SAI360 (BWise) or similar GRC platform is a plus.
Familiarity with implementing or assessing cloud architecture is a plus.
Microsoft SQL and Active Directory skills are a plus.
