Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Buss Machine Operator to join our team. The machine operator will be responsible for the fabrication of copper buss bars used for the assembly of switchgear cabinets. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating EHRT buss bar punch or bending machines. Must be punctual and reliable. Normal Shift hours are 6:00 A.M to 4:30 P.M., Monday through Thursday. Periodic overtime may be required on Friday.

Primary Duties
Load/unload material on the buss bar punch and completing parts within tolerance shown on piece part drawings.
Use hand tools such as tape measures, calipers, angle gauges, etc. to verify dimensions of the formed component.
Read/interpret blueprints for instructions.
Communicate with other departments with feedback on errors or issues that may be encountered during the fabrication process.
Awareness and safe handling of raw materials that may weigh up to 50 lbs.
Monitor machine operations to detect any problems or deviations.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications
Previous experience operating CNC punch press
Experience fabricating copper buss bar
Experience operating EHRT buss bar CNC punch and/or bending machine
Critical and analytic thinking.
Good communication skills.
Shop math and measurement skills.
Quality focused, attention to detail.
Computer knowledge.
General Housekeeping.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
