Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our team. As a CNC Machinist/Programmer, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to fabricate parts according to precise specifications. Use computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software to create programs that control the operation of CNC machines. Program via G code, and Master CAM.

This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

Duties:
- Set up and operate/Program CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, grinding, and troubleshooting.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job
- Load and unload raw materials and finished parts into the machine
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, bore gauges, and micrometers
- Collaborate with engineers and programmers to optimize machining processes
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist/Programmer or similar role
- Proficiency in operating Fanuc or similar CNC controls.
- Strong knowledge of tooling selection and setup procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and GD&T principles
- Solid mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining processes
- Proficiency in programming using software such as SolidWorks is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
