Responsibilities:
Considered an emerging authority, who applies extensive technical expertise. Develops technical solutions to complex problems. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment. Skills and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Experience with development of common standards and interfaces with space, ground, space integration.

Experience identifying, documenting, and analyzing integration activity interdependencies, giver and receiver relationships, issues and risks, and recommending solutions, mitigations, alternatives, and corrective actions for these risks

Ability to recommend systems engineering and integration process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce risk, cost and schedule, and improve integration, communication and collaboration

Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals

Experience with performing systems engineering, integration, and test on space systems

Experience in compliance with and implementation of customer-mandated techniques and industry best-practices, including MOSA

Experience developing implementation guidelines and concepts to apply MOSA principles to system design

Experience with using Model-Based Systems Engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines

Experience with using Atlassian tools

Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews, milestone reviews, and requirements verification, and provide technically based recommendations

Knowledge of DoD 5000.01/02

Qualifications:
BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5

Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance

3+ years of experience with Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) design principles and technologies, DoD architecture standards and framework, and Agile systems engineering methods and tools

3+ years of experience with interoperability applications across system of systems and mission integration

Bachelor’s degree

Desired:

Master’s degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field

INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification, such as ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
