Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Lead Avionics Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves the design, development, and evaluation of avionics systems tailored for our satellite projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Architect and develop sophisticated avionics systems for satellite applications.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and validation of avionics components.
  • Collaborate with research engineers to foster innovation and enhance the company's intellectual property portfolio.
  • Integrate avionics systems with various satellite subsystems in partnership with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Diagnose and resolve challenges related to avionics hardware and software.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Document design methodologies, testing outcomes, and system efficiencies.
  • Guide and mentor junior engineering staff.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in avionics engineering for spacecraft systems.
  • Expertise in the development of hardware and software for avionics applications.
  • Familiarity with satellite communication technologies and space systems.
  • Experience in Flight Software and Avionics.
  • Knowledge of Digital Electronics (FPGA) and Embedded Systems.
  • Experience with Hardware-in-the-loop testing and software simulations.
  • Background in Spacecraft Operations.
  • Understanding of RF systems.
  • Awareness of satellite ground systems and launch operations.
