CONTROLLER

We have been retained to recruit an independent, hands-on, and self-directed individual that can lead all aspects of the accounting function within the organization This position provides detailed financial analysis and advice to business leadership and assesses line of business operating results in terms of costs, budgets, forecast, operating policies, and trends.

What You'll Do
  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of but not limited to, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchase orders, and tax compliance and revenue recognition.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations ensuring compliance with the business accounting policies and procedures.
  • Responsibility for the accurate and timely closing of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end including reconciliations.
  • Primary support with outside auditors for assigned entities; prepares various audit schedules as necessary for external and internal audit requirements.
  • Lead, train, develop, and motivate accounting staff to maintain a high level of employee commitment and competence.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely cash flow projects.
  • Ensure the reconciliation of general ledger accounts, accounts payable and accounts receivable are assigned to team members, completed, and reviewed regularly
  • Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends to senior leaders to ensure objectives are met.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years progressively responsible related financial experience required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Well-organized, self-directed team player; prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans.
  • Experienced manager able to lead, mentor and motivate others.
