HACCP certification is also required (but can be obtained on the job).Experience: 1-2 years QC or/and food industry experience (preferred but not required).Knowledge: What does the person in this role need to know? Active Forklift Certification is required. Other Skills: Must have strong communication skills.Must have strong computer skills.Must have strong critical thinking skills.Must adapt to constant changes and work independently with moderate supervision.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.Must be able to multi-task.Other Abilities: Managing multiple projects simultaneously, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines. Ability to comprehend quality systems in preparation for audits.Working and Environmental ConditionsWorking in a warehouse, cold environment with temperatures below 40°F. Work areas may be loud and confined spaces. Will require continuous exposure to noisy environments >85 dBa. Adherence to safety protocols and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, ear protection, and steel-toed shoes. Ability to perform repetitive tasks.Responsibilities will require an adjusted work schedule, overtime, holidays, and evening/weekend hours to meet deadlines and production needs.Physical DemandsAbility to stand for long periods. Sit, bend, and climb in narrow areas or upstairs or ladders. Requires time in front of a computer screen for extended periods.Occasional lifting of equipment that may weigh up to 20 lbs.
