Machinify is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a primary focus on frontend development to contribute towards the UI platform of our product.

We're looking for agile people who are passionate about problem-solving, seeking to solve challenges, and have hands-on experience in software development with a product focused background. Our ideal candidate would have current experience as a primary developer, improving team productivity, and proven success understanding product strategy and recommending solutions to critical issues.

Our engineering team is composed of the best and brightest software developers and data engineers. Our engineers are responsible for developing the infrastructure behind our intelligent healthcare products to support current and future product lines. Our teams are highly collaborative across all areas of the organization, autonomous in their ability to perform work, and highly impactful towards the success of the business.

What you'll do:

  • Develop applications & contribute towards the UI platform
  • Own projects aligned with our product development strategy
  • Design and implement solutions to achieve a delightful and intuitive user experience
  • Contribute to the underlying platform to ensure it is extensible, scalable, and secure
  • Collaborate with team and external stakeholders such as Product Managers, Backend Engineers, UX team, & our customers
What you'll bring:
  • 5+ years of production software development experience in Reactclass components
  • Proficiency in React, Javascript, and CSS/HTML experience
  • Familiar with TypeScript
  • Experience with reading and understanding complex enterprise-grade code, quickly contribute to it, and suggesting improvements
  • Excellent debugging skills
  • Experience implementing best practices of incorporating AI into user flows
  • Proficient with working/integrating with API Backends
  • Strong CS foundation (data structures, asynchronous programming)
  • BS or MS in Computer science (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continous Development frameworks
  • Familiarity with standard development tools and processes like Github Workflows, Git, JIRA
  • Experience creating and building systems in production with over 10k users
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and taking the initiative

The salary for this position is based on an array of factors unique to each candidate: Such as years and depth of experience, set skills, certifications, etc. The base salary range for this role is $170k to $230k. We are hiring for different levels, and our Recruiting team will let you know if you qualify for a different role/range. Salary is one component of the total compensation package, which includes meaningful equity, excellent healthcare, flexible time off, and other benefits and perks to meet the needs of each individual.
