**Description**

**A day in the life as a Lending Support Specialist I:**

* You will be responsible for completing back-office lending functions including preparing retail loan and mortgage documentation, reviewing legal documentation, funding of mortgage deals as well as reviewing security registrations.

* You will prepare and analyze lending reports (monthly, quarterly, annually etc.)

* You will ensure all assigned lending activities are compliant with legislation, regulations, policy, and procedures

* You will ensure the accurate, timely, and thorough processing of retail loan/mortgage documentation, funding, renewals, reporting, and packaging

* You will support the process of continuous improvement of all processes specific to the registration, maintenance, and preparation of collateral securities, loan processing, and funding

* You will accurately process entries for new and existing commercial, equipment, and retail loans while handling documentation control and reporting

**What you will bring to the table:**

* Post-secondary education such as a Business/Office Administration diploma is preferred

* Two to four years financial industry experience is expected with a focus on lending administration

* A combination of education and experience may be considered
