Local to Baytown, TX, and Port Arthur, TX
On-site-Hybrid
Long term contract
We are looking for an experienced Project Cost Analyst with experience in EPC cost control functions.
Key roles and responsibilities include:
- Develop project cost forecasts for a portfolio of projects based on project schedule and project progress data.
- Support in developing and maintaining the project status reports and performance metrics.
- Interfaces with Accounting, and other Departments to ensure timely processing of project costs in SAP.
- Support with project administration - project creation, purchase order creation and closures in SAP.
Qualifications:
- Education (Associate degree, or BSc,) preferably in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 - 10+ years of direct experience in engineering, procurement, and construction leading the cost control function for a major project.
- Proficient in project budgeting and forecasting processes and procedures.
- Proficient in Earned Value Management System (EVMS), including cost performance index (CPI), schedule performance index (SPI) cost variance (CV), and schedule variance (SV) analysis calculations.
- Proficient in SAP Project System module, and Plant Maintenance Module a plus.
- Must demonstrate Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficient in Power BI a plus.
