POSITION SUMMARY
As the Information Technology Intern with Liberty Diversified International, you will gain invaluable hands-on experience supporting various aspects of IT support, including helpdesk, desktop support, and security processes. You will join a team dedicated to providing excellent client device end-user hardware and software support, working closely with IT professionals to learn and assist with day-to-day operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in providing technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
- Assist in monitoring network security, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems.
- Support in conducting security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Help in implementing and enforcing IT security policies and procedures.
- Participate in security awareness training for employees.
- Assist in creating end user documentation.
- Support in the management of IT inventory and equipment.
- Other duties, as assigned
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Some education and experience with computer systems or general IT processes.
- Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and common software applications.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Previous experience in an IT support role or relevant coursework.
