Job Title: FP&A Manager

Summary: The FP&A Manager is responsible for the planning, analysis, forecasting, and budgeting processes for the company's global operations.

As a FP&A Manager you will:

  • Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales, shipments, backlog, departmental P&L, and other relevant reports.
  • Take a lead role in the preparation of reporting for the Board of Directors, management reports, as well as monthly, quarterly, and other ad hoc reporting.
  • Identify and explain variances.
  • Participate in the Company's annual budget, quarterly forecast, monthly flash, and strategic planning process.
  • Prepare and analyze trend analysis, performance indicators (KPI) for various areas of the business.
  • Review past and current financial performance against budgeted estimates and develop models that assist management in understanding the financial impact of business decisions.
  • Recommend strategies to assist the organization in meeting its long-term financial objectives and acquisition opportunities.
  • Proactively identify improvements in various existing financial and accounting processes and lead improvement projects.
  • Review/Participate in semi-annual cost rolls and monthly PO variance analysis
  • Manage time and resources effectively to meet United Safety business objectives including completing projects on time.
  • Collaborate with peers on all activities as required to successfully complete projects.
  • Work on other special projects and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements

You're a great fit for this position if this describes you:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field.
  • 5 or more years of accounting, reporting, and analysis experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong background in a similar industry will be considered as well.
  • Experience with an ERP used in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
  • Experience working for a private equity owned business is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple and diverse projects including, analytical thinking, planning, prioritizing, problem solving, decision making, creativity in presenting various options and accurately carrying out assigned projects with minimal supervision.
