Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with local and global project teams to ensure process designs comply with all standards. - Develop interface agreements and align requirements with equipment vendors. - Create and execute plans to maintain and improve process control systems in coordination with manufacturing schedules. - Develop and manage expense budgets for system maintenance and improvements. - Maintain automation standards, specifications, and detailed maintenance plans. - Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during audits and inspections related to process control systems. - Coach and train colleagues and stakeholders on automation and process control best practices. - Utilize tools for systematic problem-solving, process improvement, and project management. - Ensure all changes adhere to strict quality and risk management protocols. - Support various corporate and local IT initiatives and projects. Required Qualifications: - BA/BS in Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - 1 to 7 years of engineering experience in process-based manufacturing, utilities, and/or packaging systems. - Proficiency in PLC, SCADA, MES, Oracle, and MS SQL systems. - Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successful project execution and completion. - Excellent planning and organizational abilities. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a team environment. Physical & Other Requirements: - Ability to occasionally move equipment and/or supplies weighing up to 35 pounds unassisted. - Must be able to lift objects up to 45 lbs. with assistance. - Ability to work in different physical positions, including climbing ladders and working in elevated or confined spaces. - Availability to work in environments requiring the use of hearing protection and other safety gear. - Flexibility to work outside of standard hours as needed in a 24/7 manufacturing operation. - Willingness to travel internationally up to 15% of the time.
