Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Director of Operations II - Hospital Based Specialties.

Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift

Position Location: Onsite at Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA

Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (ET).

Job Description Summary

Directs and oversees the efficient and effective operations for a large number (11 or more) of ambulatory practices, hospital-based practices, and/or diagnostic facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Practice Managers and Team Coordinators assigned to one or more practices.
  • Responsible for the development and expert execution of strategic plans that align with organizational goals and objectives related to growth, staffing, employee development, performance management, customer service/satisfaction, service delivery, quality, revenue enhancement, expense control, budgeting, regulatory compliance, safety and security.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership
  • Diverse management experience/knowledge required, preferably in areas such as ambulatory healthcare administration, managed-care, change management or other relevant experience.

Job Summary

RN license if applicable. Diverse management experience/knowledge required, preferably in areas such as ambulatory healthcare administration, managed-care, change management or other relevant experience. Consideration given to Administrative Residency experience and internal interim leadership.
Master's Level Degree preferred.
