**Sentara Health** is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a **Regional Director of Operations - Hospital Based Specialties.**

**Position Status**: Full-time, Day Shift

**Position Location**: Onsite at Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA

**Standard Working Hours**: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (ET).

**Job Description Summary**

Functions as the senior non-physician executive for a significant segment of Sentara Medical Group's operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Direct and oversee the efficient and effective operations for a significant number of ambulatory practices, hospital-based practices, and/or diagnostic facilities within a geographic region or for one or more hospital-based service lines.
- Supervise Directors, Practice Managers and Team Coordinators assigned to one or more practices.
- Responsible for the development and expert execution of strategic plans that align with organizational goals and objectives related to growth, staffing, employee development, performance management, customer service/satisfaction, service delivery, quality, revenue enhancement, expense control, budgeting, regulatory compliance, safety and security.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- ** Bachelor’s Degree **(Master’s preferred)
- ** Minimum 7 years **of leadership
- Diverse management experience/knowledge with a track record of progressively responsible positions in complex health-related organizations.
