Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Traveling Superintendent to oversee and manage projects across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a traveling superintendent, with expertise in restaurants, retail, big box stores, hotels, multi-family housing, hospitals, shopping centers, and high-rise buildings. This role requires a proven ability to lead projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Traveling Construction Superintendent Key Responsibilities: Oversee all phases of construction projects across various locations, including restaurants, retail, big box, hotels, multi-family, hospitals, shopping centers, and high-rise buildings. Develop and manage project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of tasks. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards across all sites. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues or changes in scope promptly. Maintain clear and effective communication with project managers, clients, and stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns. Lead and manage on-site construction teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and safety records. Traveling Construction Superintendent Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a traveling superintendent in commercial construction, with experience in restaurants, retail, big box stores, hotels, multi-family housing, hospitals, shopping centers, and high-rise buildings. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and safety protocols. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in construction management software and tools. Willingness to travel extensively and work at various project sites.
