JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Technical Trainer oversees operator qualification and refresher training initiatives aimed at enhancing employee competencies and technical skills. The Senior Technical Trainer will collaborate closely with departments such as Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance to ensure course materials are up to date with current specifications and gather insights into new processes and equipment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (Required)
* Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
* Four (4) or more years' Experience in a related field (Required)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Own the training plan for their area of responsibility, create level-up and re-qualification plans for each operator. As per the plan, schedule written exams, walk-throughs, and round table panel exercises.
* Ensure operators are being trained by their on-shift mentors, including Shift Supervisors, Shift Leaders, and Level 3 and Level 4 Operators.
* Work with the Operations Specialist to ensure training and qualification materials are developed and updated to stay current.
* Collaborate with the Training Department to identify and schedule operator upskilling classes.
* Assist with new project training and commissioning.
