Child Focus is seeking a Recruitment Specialist / HR Generalist to support the agency in finding highly qualified candidates to join our team. We are looking for an energetic team player to undertake all hiring activities, from advertising open roles to interviewing candidates and closing hires.

The Recruitment Specialist will create a positive experience when connecting with potential candidates online and offline. They will be responsible for screening applications and supporting hiring managers. The specialist will serve as the go-between for candidates and hiring managers, and coordinating the hiring process end-to-end.

The Recruitment Specialist will additionally support the HR department with generalist duties as assigned and be an essential part of the new hire orientation.

The Recruitment Specialist must possess, strong interpersonal skills, high level of initiative and ability to connect well with others. The specialist will also be required to have organizational skills, good written and verbal communications, and the ability to problem solve independently.

Additional job duties will include :

Build and report on quarterly and annual hiring plans

Track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill and source of hire

Create and publish job ads in various portals

Host and participate in job fairs

Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during events

Collaborate with hiring managers to set qualification criteria for future employees

Screen resumes and job applications

Conduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates

Design, distribute and measure the results of candidate experience surveys

Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process

Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings
