Are you a dedicated and knowledgeable professional passionate about the insurance industry? We are looking for a Customer Insurance Representative to join our team in Florida. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in the insurance industry, hold a mandatory 440 or 220 license, and be proficient in English and Spanish.

Job Description

  • This is a full-time position, Monday Friday.
  • Responsible for the highest level of customer service and cross-selling existing accounts for P&C Insurance: Auto, Home, & Commercial business insurance.
  • Develop relationships with existing clients and ask for referrals.
  • Generate new business opportunities.
  • Manage or hand off new business clients to the sales team.

Required Skills:

  • Strong bilingual (Spanish) communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Mandatory 4-40 or 2-20 license.
  • Ability to work independently and manage their time effectively.
  • Computer Proficient -Microsoft, CRS System, and Internet-related programs
  • Organized, efficient, & able to multi-task.
  • Meet deadlines for real estate closings and renewal dates.
  • Courteous, professional, and customer service oriented.
  • Ethical, honest, and looking out for the client's best interest.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to present and explain auto, home, and commercial products.
  • Manage insurance company inquiries, resolve service problems, document customer requests, and finalize policy adjustments.
  • Contacting existing clients to requote existing lines of business and generate new lines.
  • Process endorsements, resolve billing issues, and make recommendations for existing client policies.
  • Answer incoming calls and questions about insurance policies, insurance coverage issues, consumer complaints, and general inquiries.
  • Review policies and re-market accounts.
  • Cross-selling existing customers new lines of business.
  • Work well with others and develop positive business relationships with our clients.
  • Assist insurance agents and sales representatives in resolving customer complaints.
